Sint-Gummarus Tripel
Sint-Gummarus was the first real triple of the Limburg region. It is a strong, pure malt beer re-fermented in the bottle. Its special brewing process combined with its high fermentation and long lagering, result in a fully aged, copper-blonde beer.
Proud rogue
Be sure to try the Sint-Gummarus Tripel, our golden glory. Expect a traditional interplay of fruity aromas and a soft, hoppy finish. Mischievously tantalising and pure.
Pioneer
Not just your typical tripel. As the first tripel in Limburg, our Sint-Gummarus paved the way for countless progeny.
Fractures and shrews
Saint Gummarus is the patron saint of the city of Lier and, as tradition has it, at the beginning of the 8th century, Saint Gummarus resurrected a felled tree by reattaching the crown to the trunk using his belt. His wife was a shrew, which caused Gummarus to renounce the marriage and live as a pilgrim. So when you pray to Saint Gummarus, you pray for deliverance from fractures and angry women…
Sense-sational
Its powerful character is reinforced by aromatic herbs that effortlessly infiltrate the nose. Together with its copper-blond appearance, this beer knows how to beguile more than just one sense.
