Pax pils
Originally brewed to commemorate the end of World War I, Pax Pils features a personality that is as joyous as it is peaceful: crisp and clean with just a hint of malt. Pax Pils: Celebrate Peace
Bullets flying past the kettles
Our Pax is peaceful by nature, but during WW II, it made a narrow escape. The bullets of the German occupiers literally flew through our brewery halls. Luckily, the majority of our copper kettles were spared.
Genuine traditions of flavour and method
Not our words, those of Michael Jackson – the world-famous beer guru who waxed lyrical about Pax pils after a visit to our brewery.
Thirst quencher
A true lager has a pure flavour reflecting its honest, carefully selected ingredients. A refreshing lager, brewed from high-quality malt, hops and yeast, is a true thirst quencher.
Bar chat
In 1842, lager was first brewed by Josef Groll in the Czech city of Pilsen. Hence the name (in Dutch at least): pils.
